Greetings from Ohio

Hello everyone. I’m so impressed with the quality of writing in the stories I’ve read here on Anotherealm. Congratulations to all the authors, not only of the stories, but also of the comments on the forums. Most forums I read are almost unintelligible with the poor grammar, spelling and incoherent thought processes. It’s so refreshing to read intelligent, well thought out and well written comments. It’s also a bit intimidating. I’ve whipped up an offering for the current contest which I’ll submit for consideration and comments as soon as I finish editing --- and get my nerve up.

Welcome aboard! Good to see a local (to me, anyway; I live in Newark, OH and work in Westerville) in the crew. You'll find this a fine and friendly place to hone and show your writing skills. We look forward to your stories and your visits to our BBS.

Aloha, Shalom, and Howdy.

Did you guys (in Ohio) feel the earthquake there, reportedly caused by fracking?

I heard about it the next day but did not feel anything in Columbus. But I have slept through two other quakes so I may not be the best source.

Didn't feel this one--and I hadn't heard about it until your email. I lived in the San Diego area for a while, so I'm no stranger to tremblors. Oddly, I've experienced more quakes here in Ohio (3) than I did in California (2). (Of course, I've lived here much longer--and loved it far more.)
