Jean, 'tis why I write about 'em, ma'am, coz I likes 'em
Adrienne, if you do actually want to read more - check the Anotherealm archives. Years 2000 and 2002 both have my stories listed.
And I'm not quite sure what's happening in the Temple, but it sure isn't good news for wizardkind.
Wouldn't that be something!
Of course to be a real story there would have to be a down side to it all. Perhaps it had to be done in ink so there was no erasing. Maybe the ink would fade over time, and so would the reality. Perhaps if the page was torn from the book it ceased being real or a page inserted into the book became real.
Hmm forgery anyone? ;)
The concept is interesting but would have to be handled with care. Otherwise it would become the ultimate "magic sword" and get real boring real fast.
It could easily have some lighter moments such as an ink blob on the page becoming real, what to do? Idle squiggles by the author not yet realizing reality would be changed.
It could be a fun story to write.
hint, hint 8-)
