I liked this sci-fi story.
To be honest, at first I groaned ---here, we go, another Blade Runner/ William Gibson wanna-be with a storyline that is so cliche...
But the writing style was so compelling I couldn't help but read the whole thing through.  And was pleasantly surprised at the direction it took.

Half-way through, I was also surprised to find out the beginning had been set in Tokyo and had to go back and see how on-the-money the subtle references had been... haha

Anyhow, a good read.
