A few mild surprises and one stunner emerged from our first division's head-to-head. Not so much which series won, but the margins of victory were interesting. Steven King's Dark Tower series needed a tie-break to overcome Paul  McAuley's  Four Hundred Billion Stars and the only clean sweep was recorded by Clarke's 2001.
