Title: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAM Post by Gary A. Markette on Nov 8th, 2012, 1:39am Today is Bram Stoker's 165th birthday! To celebrate, take a vampire to lunch . . . or not. Those of you who haven't read Dracula, consider doing so. The book is avaiilable for free in several places online (the Guttenberg Project site was one when I found it). Stoker was considered a hack when he was alive. Perhaps so, yet his story has endured through the ages and has, perhaps, as much influence on modern fiction as any by more-ballyhooed authors. The man could tell a tale, my friends. I've read Dracula several times. Take a couple of days and read it once.

Title: Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAM Post by ente per ente on Nov 11th, 2012, 9:50pm That author  was  really one of the greatest  ones  in the Horror  field and  the main  character ( along with many others...)  depicted in  the  best known  book   by him  has  just  become  immortal, certainly!!!
