Title: Re: The Harder They Fall by Erin Smith Post by balero on Nov 11th, 2012, 6:01pm Like gschaade I found the style of mingling flashbacks with the round by round commentary effective.  Here we have the creator of Frankenstein and accomplice being destroyed by their monster.     This short story seemed also original because it worked at times with individual chapters, a system which is used frequently with full length novels.     Obviously we are we are working in another realm with the plot where almost anything goes but nevertheless it remains a creative and attractive piece of work.
