Title: How do you contact the syfy channel? Post by Adrienne_Ray on Sep 19th, 2012, 4:30pm Okay, so it really ought to be the SciFi channel, but we all already know that, don't we? This Saturday a movie will air about camel spiders. I believe it's called something clever like "Camel Spiders". A while back (It may have been in 2006) Anotherealm published a contest story of mine entitled "The Minute Men". It was a story about  some American guys who were policing the Mexican border looking form illegal aliens. They have a change of heart when they see some Mexicans get attacked by a giant camel spider. Earlier in the story they talk about how all sorts of things that come from the Middle East are coming across the Mexican border. I don't think the Scyfy people copied off my story. It was only a matter of time before they got around to camel spiders. However, I would like to ask them if they would want my story to use as a sequel. I think this story was for a contest where the theme was politics. I can't find it on Anotherealm now but it really was there. Anybody remember it?

Post by MikeH on Sep 25th, 2012, 7:20am At first glance CAMEL SPIDERS appears to be a movie created independently, and then sold to the Sci-Fi channel... so you might want to try (via an Agent of course) contacting Roger Corman, who produced the movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel_Spiders_(film) Best of luck!
