Title: Contest wins Post by J. Davidson Hero on Jul 17th, 2011, 7:21am Webbie, In light of the stiff competition, I'm really surprised and honored by my stories' first place finishes in the last two flash contests. The other entries were great stories and I really enjoyed reading them all. I'm proud to have my stories included with them here at Anotherealm. Now an unexpected journey.... hmm... :) John |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by ente per ente on Jul 17th, 2011, 9:01am With compliments Davidson Hero...a double win for you in a row...great, indeed!!! :) :) :) About me, I'm really glad my entry "A Victorian key- point" pleased the readers within the "Abandoned Houses" Contest, maybe this means I begin writing better in American/English...well, about my (bad) pronunciation in American/English I have to work on it more and more...eh,eh ;D ;D ;D ...even though I think that "A piece of bulrush" within the following Contest was a little better...anyway, it's my personal opinion, of course... 8-) Quote:
Well, my next entry is already...ready 8-)...eh,eh....tomorrow morning I am going to complete/review it before sending...eh,eh :) |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by Webbie on Jul 17th, 2011, 2:04pm Yes a double win is unusual but not unheard of. I believe Arthur has done is a couple of times as well. Keeping in mind that we have had a lot of contest stories over the last 15 or so years. In any case keep up the good work! :) |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by ente per ente on Jul 17th, 2011, 8:54pm For Webbie: Will all the entries for the "Abandoned Houses"( For Rent) Contest be available/readable again online..? :) |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by Webbie on Jul 18th, 2011, 5:00am The stories have been moved to the winning categories for 1st 2nd and 3rd place. Since there were only three stories it now looks blank. |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by ente per ente on Jul 19th, 2011, 3:36am For Webbie: thanks for the info :)...I wasn't able to find the tales under the article topic before...eh,eh |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by Tim P. on Jul 22nd, 2011, 6:03pm Very good job. I particularly enjoyed your story, and you deserved to win (: I look forward to competing against you for the unexpected journey as well. |
Title: Re: Contest wins Post by J. Davidson Hero on Jul 23rd, 2011, 10:51am I look forward to reading your next story Tim. :) I see Sergio already has an entry done, but I don't like to read the entries until I get my own finished. And since Webbie has given us a little while before the next deadline, I'll probably let the idea-pot percolate for a while first. John |
