Title: MicroSciFiction and Reportage FANTACON 2011, in Turin, Italy Post by ente per ente on Apr 19th, 2011, 2:26am Sunday afternoon I and some members from my Club were in Turin at Mu.Fant (Museo della Fantascienza that is Science Fiction Museum) for the Award Giving Ceremony of the Contest MicroSciFiction we held together with Italian Sci-Fi/Horror Magazine La Zona Morta (that means The Dead Zone...) for Sci- Fi Flash Fiction short- stories. There were several entrants, every entry was meant to be in Italian, but we had entrants also from nearby Switzerland, where - in Canton of Ticino- people usually speak Italian, other than German or French... :D http://fantacon.altervista.org/blog/ http://fantacon.altervista.org/blog/regolamenti/regolamento-per-concorso-narrativo/ http://www.mufant.it/ http://www.lazonamorta.it/lazonamorta2/?p=5662 It has been a First Edition, but the written entries we received were really good... 8) By the way, in the same place, also the Sci-Fi Model Contest Award Giving Ceremony took place by means of Phoenix Model Club Piemonte ( that went really very good for me and all the modellers from my Club, ten awards overall...eh,eh) along with the Contest for Sci-Fi best drawings/designs on the theme: Sci-Fi at work, by means of Pavesio Editore. Here, too, there were many good entrants... Then I post some interesting images, of course there will be also the very "compromising"  photos of me and some friends of mine next to the beautiful statue of (beautiful) Seven of Nine from Voyager...well, unfortunately, only a statue of her...eh,eh... :D Here the "compromising" photos from FANTACON 2011...I would have liked to look at Seven of Nine ( I mean, the statue..eh,eh) straight into her eyes, but there was something that diverted my attention...I don't know why...eh,eh http://i54.tinypic.com/sy9vfs.jpg But the same thing distracted- most likely- even my friends Carlo and Fulvio...eh,eh... And Marco "Natter", too...eh,eh: From Aliens with love...: Drawings/Designs Contest : Drawing Lab with the famous artist FABBRI ( who made some Star Wars comics...) http://i56.tinypic.com/2v0fhx3.jpg Busts Japan Figures: Mecha http://i52.tinypic.com/23tz83.jpg Gundam(s) http://i53.tinypic.com/9roz2u.jpg Starships... http://i51.tinypic.com/2klpp4.jpg Fantasy http://i54.tinypic.com/35kltms.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/2enc29f.jpg Museum [img]http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g55/Natter_photos/100_3225.jpg" alt="" border="0" /> http://i53.tinypic.com/2rqccrb.jpg http://i56.tinypic.com/2meo23d.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/29e0pbl.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/28v3ymp.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/23tpp8y.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2kh647.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/dnbn7p.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2cdg1g8.jpg Some images from the Awards Giving Ceremony for the Scale Model Contest: http://i54.tinypic.com/34s2yb5.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/zxwff9.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/25tdwn5.jpg The beginning of the Award Giving Ceremony for MicroSciFiction Literary Contest: http://i56.tinypic.com/16ar19z.jpg Award Giving Ceremony: Photo with some members from La Centuria- Phoenix Model Club Piemonte and Legio Pictorum...what a warm day in Turin!!!It looked like Summer(that promises to be really warm this year if Spring already is so sunny...)...eh,eh :D :D |
