Title: Aesop Division Winners Post by Gary A. Markette on Jul 6th, 2010, 12:46am A few mild surprises and one stunner emerged from our first division's head-to-head. Not so much which series won, but the margins of victory were interesting. Steven King's Dark Tower series needed a tie-break to overcome Paul  McAuley's  Four Hundred Billion Stars and the only clean sweep was recorded by Clarke's 2001. Here are the winners of the Aesop Division: 1. Roger Zelazny: Chronicles of Amber (5 - 1) 2. Orson Scott  Card:  Ender novels (5 - 1) 3. Robert E. Howard: Conan (5 - 1) 4. Piers Anthony: Incarnations of Immortality (4 - 2) 5. Steven King: Dark Tower (3T - 3) 6. A E van Vogt: The Weapon Makers (4 - 2) 7. Arthur C. Clarke: Space Odyssey (6 - 0) 8. EE Doc Smith: Lensman (5 - 1) These move on to our next round. Tune in tomorrow for the Stoker Division contenders.
