Title: Mystery object to whizz by Earth Wednesday
Post by Webbie on Jan 12th, 2010, 1:32pm

A mystery object from space is about to whizz close by Earth on Wednesday at 7:47 a.m. EST. Scientists are stumped by what exactly it is.

Might be an asteroid or a small meteor they don't know. Some say it is just space junk.

Hmm... space junk from where exactly?

NASA is studying the photos.
Rumor has it that it was a large blue box that looked like this...

Scientist speculated that the object was of earthly origin because of it's orbit.

So, it's one of ours eh? Wonder which one?
What have we lost that is 30 to 50 feet long?
Does anybody recall such a thing?

Mars probes, but they were lost near Mars, not here.
Failed launches from Japan and Russia, but they never made it to orbit.
Hmmm, wonder where this object was launched from, Vandenburg perhaps?

Any thoughts?
