Title: The Stuff of Dreams Post by MikeH on Dec 17th, 2009, 2:45pm The last of the first batch of Fictioneers Badges arrived today. All 19 are sitting before me on my coffee table. Each one rests inside a small zip-lock plastic bag, with dog-tag chain, and a label by its creator, and cleaning instructions. 19 small treasures. Approximately 1,500 Delica glass, galvanized silver, and metallic beads hand-crafted on a traditional beading loom and triple Nymo stitched to soft black leather...You can't order these jewels. You can't buy them. You can only EARN them by becoming a FULL MEMBER of The Fictioneers! I wanted to mail them all out to the "Charter Members" of The Fictioneers this weekend, but I'm still waiting on the membership cards and the membership certificates to arrive (I wanted to mail all three items out to each Charter Member before Christmas). It is all coming down to the wire. Worst case scenario, I'll send them out after Christmas. Keeping my fingers crossed though... Praeclarus Intus Scriptum! Michael http://www.thefictioneers.com/ |

Title: Re: The Stuff of Dreams Post by JeffL on Dec 21st, 2009, 3:15pm This is all very exciting. It is nice to see you never let the dream fade away even after all this time. |
Title: Re: The Stuff of Dreams Post by JeffL on Dec 21st, 2009, 3:19pm This is also very inspirational and could get me to do more writing and 'peddling' of my stories. |
